Epsom and Ewell Borough Councillor David Morgan (Court ward) has recently become President of the Institution of Analysts and Programmers.

David Morgan BSc(Hons) FIAP(Cmpn) FICPD, who until recently ran his own computing services company, joined the IAP in November 1990 and was elected as a Fellow in January 1991. He was elected to the IAP Council in 1993 and has been Vice President for the last few years

The Institution of Analysts and Programmers is Britain's leading professional organisation for people who work in the development, installation and testing of business and computing systems. Since 1993 it has been a Company Limited by Guarantee owned by its members, and bound by a written Constitution.

The Institution has individual members worldwide, the majority of these based in the UK. All members are qualified professional people.
